Attention Mountain Village Cable Customers:
Twice each year, the sun is positioned directly in line with the ground-based satellite dish antennas used to receive our programming. This positioning causes programming interruptions as the sun’s energy overpowers signals transmitted by the satellites. When the digital signal is interrupted by the sun’s energy, you will see “One Moment Please” on the affected channel(s).
This condition will only be present for several minutes each day during the sun outage period which this year will be Oct. 4-8. If you get the message, please wait 5-10 minutes, and it should be resolved.
