Celebrate the Fourth of July with the whole family this year at Mountain Village’s Red, White and Blues Celebration.

Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association is pleased to announce the annual Red, White & Blues Celebration will continue the tradition of fun on both Thursday, July 3 and Friday, July 4. The two-day event is set in the panoramic San Juan Mountains in Mountain Village, Colorado offering live music, fun activities, merchant discounts, food and drink specials, and much more.

The two-day celebration will offer a host of fun activities for kids of all ages along with live music.

“TMVOA is excited to continue to provide two days of live music and family friendly activities during the Red, White & Blues Celebration in Mountain Village,” said Joni Tinker, TMVOA Operations Coordinator. “We look forward to having our members and visitors attend this wonderful community event.”

Head over to Sunset Plaza for face painting, balloon art and a magic show by Mysto the Magi over both days. There will also be an ice cream social hosted by the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program on Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m.

Face painting, cotton candy, food vendors and more will take place in Heritage Plaza on both days of the celebration as well as live music by our locals David Nunn on Thursday and Alex Paul on Friday from 1 – 5 p.m. The Telluride Photobooth will set up shop at the Telluride Distillery on July 3 & 4, so make sure to swing by for a fun photo opportunity!

Conference Center Plaza will feature a bouncy house, hula hoops, chalk art and lawn games! Join Bazaa and the Juggler for mini shows from the Salida Circus throughout each day with shows at 2 and 4 p.m. The Pinhead Institute is also joining the fun and providing a super fun and educational activity, Botany & Bugs, featuring the local plants and bugs living at the pond. Conference Center Plaza is also home to the main concert stage this year with live music on Thursday featuring, Bob Hemenger from 5 – 5:45 p.m. and Orgone from 6 – 8 p.m.

“What better way to start off your 4th of July Celebration with acclaimed musicians Orgone from Los Angeles?! They are veterans of the Telluride Festival circuit and their funk and soul will keep you smiling and get your feet moving,” said Teddy Errico, Producer of the Telluride Society for Music.

Reflection Plaza, adjacent to the Madeline Hotel & Residences, will feature a fun demonstration by the Telluride Gymnastics team on Thursday at 1 p.m. and an inflatable obstacle course. Saturday’s Movies Under the Stars will feature the movie “The Sandlot” starting at sundown.

The Red, White & Blues Celebration is provided to the public free of charge by TMVOA and is sponsored by the Town of Mountain Village, Telluride Society for Music and By Sutton. The event is held rain or shine.
