Dinner & a Movie presents: "Twisters" November 29 and "Inside Out 2" November 30

Categories: Event, Press Releases

The Town of Mountain Village is pleased to announce the next installation of its new monthly movie night series, Dinner & A Movie at the Telluride Conference Center. The next two movie nights will be Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30.

On Friday, November 29, the film will be “Twisters,” screening at 7 p.m. with doors at 6 p.m. and Saturday, November 30, will feature “Inside Out 2” screening at 6 p.m. with doors at 5 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for kids 18 and under and can be purchased online in advance or at the door.

A full dinner menu, bar and concessions will be available for purchase both nights, and the theater will feature dining tables in the back, traditional seats in the middle and floor seating in the front. There will be beanbags up front and moviegoers are welcome to bring their own seating or blanket for a comfortable viewing experience.

“Twisters” is rated PG-13 and stars Daisey Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell and Anthony Ramos. Edgar-Jones stars as Kate Carter, a former storm chaser haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years who now studies storm patterns on screens safely in New York City. She is lured back to the open plains by her friend, Javi (Ramos) to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. There, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Powell), the charming and reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures with his raucous crew; the more dangerous the better.

Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone. “Inside Out 2” is rated PG.

The Town and Conference Center plan to host monthly Dinner & A Movie evenings for the community.
