Gondola opens for summer season Thursday, May 26, 2022

The Town of Mountain Village is pleased to announce that the gondola, the free public transportation that connects Mountain Village and Telluride, will open for summer 2022 on Thursday, May 26 at 6:30 a.m. Masks will not be required on the gondola at this time.

The gondola will be open 6:30-midnight daily through Sunday, October 16. Please note the following dates for extended operating hours:

• Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28: closes at 1 a.m. for this weekend's Mountainfilm Festival
• Thursday, June 16-Sunday, June 19: closes at 2 a.m. for Telluride Bluegrass Festival
• Fridays and Saturdays, June 24-Sept. 17: extended weekend operating hours, closes at 2 a.m.

Please note: the chondola is not open during the summer season, and the Town operates a bus between the Meadows and Mountain Village Center. See bus schedule.
