Mountain Village Green Team Community Clean Up Day: August 21, 2021

The Mountain Village Green Team hosts its annual Community Clean Up Day on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

This year’s Clean Up Day will be based out of the Village Pond Plaza (adjacent to the Telluride Conference Center) in the Mountain Village Center. Check-in and trash drop off will be at the Village Pond Parking Lot.

Volunteers are asked to arrive between 9:30 and 10 a.m. to register, pick up trash bags and receive designated areas of where to clean up trash. There will be coffee and donuts during registration.

Participants will be provided a bag for both trash and recycling and are encouraged to bring gloves, wear long pants and comfortable shoes.

The clean up itself will take place from 10 a.m. to noon.

After the clean up, hang out in Village Pond Plaza between noon and 2 p.m. with a contest for who collected the most trash, ice cream and lawn games.
