Mountain Village Green Team Community Clean Up Day, August 22

The Mountain Village’s Green Team will host its annual Community Clean Up Day on Saturday, August 22, 2020.

This year’s Clean Up Day will be based in Mountain Village’s Meadows neighborhood with check-in and trash drop off at the Meadows Parking Lot. Volunteers are asked to arrive between 9:30 and 10 a.m. to register and be assigned an area to pick up trash. Clean up will take place from 10 a.m. to noon.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, volunteers will be required to wear face coverings the entire time, and are encouraged to bring their own masks and gloves and wear long pants and comfortable shoes. Social distancing guidelines will be enforced to at all times.

Now, in its third year, the Community Clean Up Day intends to spread awareness of trash pick-up throughout the community and to bring neighbors together to enjoy and preserve Mountain Village’s beautiful natural surroundings.
