Mountain Village launches new automatic bill pay system for customers

Town of Mountain Village is pleased to announce a new and convenient way for customers to pay utility bills through Municipal Online Services.

Residents and customers can now pay and manage their utility accounts online by registering for the Town’s new online bill pay portal at: townofmountainvillage.com/billing. The Town is also introducing a new option to pay by phone.

This new feature is available for water and sewer, construction parking and Mountain Munchkins child care and preschool. (Please note that the broadband bill pay system is remaining the same).

This secure, mobile-optimized payment solution makes it easy for customers to pay online using a credit/debit card. The site allows for current one-time payments, future dated one-time payments and also scheduled recurring payments via AutoPay.

The new site allows customers to make and schedule their payments as well as the following features:

  • Quick Pay – One-time payments for citizens choosing not to establish a user account
  • Secure User Account – Create a user account, store payment methods, and facilitate future transactions
  • Consumption History – View past consumption for up to two years
  • Notifications – Set up notifications about bills
  • Transaction History – View transaction history for up to one year

Customers can also access account information and pay by phone by calling 866-208-2609.

“We are excited to offer this new service to our customers,” said the Town’s Chief Accountant Julie Vergari. “We hope to see more customers take advantage of this new service moving forward.”

Those customers who were set up in the previous autopay system with an email address on file will be transferred to the new system and should expect an email from the new system to set up their portal access.

Customers who had autopay set up through the old system without an email address on file are encouraged to set up their account by visiting the portal link on the Town’s website. Customers will need to provide their email address, utility account number and last payment amount in order to enroll.
