Categories: Event, Press Releases

After a successful Winter Market throughout the month of January, the Town of Mountain Village is pleased to announce it will extend the market into March with new dates scheduled for the first three Fridays in March: March 3, 10 and 17.

Due to brighter afternoons, the new market dates will be held 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

“At the conclusion of our Winter Market dates in January, our vendors were eager to return to Mountain Village again in March,” said Mountain Village Community Engagement Coordinator Molly Norton. “We look forward to having our guests and locals join us again on the first three Fridays in March to shop our Winter Market and enjoy free live music and hot chocolate.”

The Mountain Village Winter Market will be held in Conference Center Plaza (adjacent to the Telluride Conference Center) and will feature an assortment of vendors selling everything from jewelry to baked goods to art, bath and body products and much more.

Vendors include a mix of both returning Market on the Plaza vendors and new faces eager to showcase their work with Mountain Village shoppers. Vendors include: Amy Leiner Designs (scarves/jewelry); Aqua Dolce (consignment), Artesania original wixarica, Desert Moon Jewelry, More’s (jewelry), The Flying Hatter (custom-made hats), Fifty Fifty candles, Glanz Ghee (an Ayurvedic oil as well as chocolate hazelnut schmear and other exquisite foods) Top Knot Concepts (jewelry and gemstones) Uncompahgre Farms (grass-fed beef) and Whistling Squirrel Farm (lavender farm).

“We’re looking forward to welcoming back so many of our local artisans and expanding our inaugural Winter Market into March,” said Economic Development and Sustainability Director J.D. Wise. “The Wilkinson Public Library will also be returning to the market with their pop-up library.”

Free hot chocolate will also be available during the market and there will also be live music.
