The Solar Co-op Launch took place last week with more than 50 attendees. Speakers from members of last year's co-op, San Miguel Power Association, Mountain Village Town Council members and San Miguel County discussed solar technology, cost savings, and the co-op process.
The 2022 Solar United Neighbors Uncompahgre Solar Co-Op is open to both Mountain Village and San Miguel County residents.
Mountain Village is once again partnering with TMVOA to offer financial incentives for installing solar on Mountain Village homes. The first 20 Mountain Village properties to sign up for the Uncompahgre Solar Co-Op will receive a $2,500* rebate when a solar array is installed.
*Deed-restricted homes will receive up to $5,000 in incentive rebates! All co-op participants may also be eligible for San Miguel Power Association rebate and a federal tax credit.
