Summer 2023 Construction Projects


SAN JOAQUIN ROAD SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS | 80% COMPLETE

The Town will widen San Joaquin Road by 12 feet to add six-foot wide paved shoulders on both sides from Tristant to Mountain Village Boulevard and fill in missing sidewalk sections between Lost Creek Lane and County Club Drive through the Village Center. Read project press release.

TRAVEL IMPACTS:

Residents and guests traveling San Joaquin Road should expect brief daytime delays during the construction timeframe. Construction began June 5 with traffic control, guard rail removal and barricade installation. Check back to this site for construction updates throughout the course of the project. GONDOLA PARKING GARAGE STEEL RESTORATION | 100% COMPLETE

Structural steel restoration work began in Gondola Parking Garage the week of July 10. The work is expected to be completed in six weeks. This work will include power washing, sandblasting and prepping the steel structure for a new paint coat.

TRAVEL IMPACTS:

Level 1 and the lower half of level 3 of the Gondola Parking Garage will be closed for the project's duration. Please pay attention to posted signage within the parking structure.
