The public plazas in Mountain Village are at the heart of our community and host a variety of commercial establishments and outdoor activities for your enjoyment. If you wish to utilize a public plaza to enhance your Mountain Village business or special event, you must submit a Plaza Use Application to the town.

Examples Of Plaza Uses
- Bike or ski racks
- Motorized utility carts
- Outdoor patio areas for merchandise display or food and beverage services
- Public art
- Special Events (which has its own process, so please refer to the Special Events webpage)
- Vending carts
If your application is approved, your Plaza Use will result in a Plaza License Agreement with the town. Your agreement with us may include plaza design standards, and will permit the activity or event for a certain period of time with rules and regulations related to operating your business or event on public property in the Town of Mountain Village.
Now Accepting 2017 Winter Season Vending Cart Applications through September 29, 2017
The winter vending season runs from November 23, 2017 to April 8, 2018 with locations in Heritage Plaza, Sunset Plaza and Conference Center Plaza. We ask that you make a commitment of five days per week, four hours each day. For information about vending, contact Town Planner Sam Starr.
