Village Court Apartments Phase IV

In its commitment to offering a wide variety of affordable housing for the community, the Town of Mountain Village will be adding two more buildings to Village Court Apartments.

This project will add 88 beds in bedrooms in 35 units to the Town's affordable rental inventory.

Phase IV will consist of the East and West buildings. The East building will have eight 1-bedroom units and thirteen 2-bedroom units for a total of 34 bedrooms and Building W will consist of 13 units consisting of 4-bedroom suites and one three-bedroom unit with a storage room on the lower level.

Triumph Development West is the project developer, and Shaw Construction is the general contractor.

Ground broke on the project in April 2023, and modular buildings were delivered in November for the East building and February for the West building. East building move-in is targeted for April 2024, and West building move-in is targeted for summer 2024.

The estimated total cost is roughly $20.29 million. The Town received a $2.225 million grant from the Department of Local Affairs' Transformation Housing Grant program. The grant was awarded to fund infrastructure and construction costs associated with the expansion of Village Court Apartments. Read more.

The Town will be prioritizing its public waitlist and transfer waitlist as it allocates units in the East building. If both waitlists are exhausted, the public waitlist will be opened back up with community-wide notice.

Units in the West building will be allocated to Mountain Village businesses through master leases so that if/when a business loses an employee, they do not lose housing for the next employee. If you are a Mountain Village business, please email to learn more about this opportunity.
