There is something magical about the Fourth of July in Telluride. For over a hundred years, people have come together on Independence Day to celebrate patriotism and the independent spirit of this stunning mountain town. Parade information can also be picked up at the Telluride Historical Museum (201 W. Gregory Ave.) or the Visitor Information Center (236 W. Colorado Ave.)
The parade takes place on Telluride’s Colorado Avenue at 11 a.m. If you are unable to attend the parade in person, Telluride TV will be live streaming the entire parade! To watch, please visit their website.
After the parade, head to Telluride Town Park for the firefighter’s barbeque from 12-4 p.m. with parade awards presentation at 1:30 p.m. Kids games will start at 2 in Town Park, and fireworks will begin once its dark, around 9 p.m.
