An Evening with Eric Hutchinson

The Sheridan Arts Foundation presents An Evening with Eric Hutchinson (solo) on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 9:00 p.m., doors at 8:00 p.m. at the historic Sheridan Opera House. Longtime fans of the Eric Hutchinson's pop-soul hits like “Rock & Roll,” “Ok, It’s Alright With Me,” and “Dear Me” and those new to the platinum-selling artist's music will equally enjoy his latest album, Before & After Life. The complex, introspective, and jazz-tinged record weighs happiness against sadness and was written and recorded in the days leading up to the birth of Eric’s daughter, Zelda in 2018. Before & After Life finds Eric exploring a pop-based, jazz-rooted sound, one that calls to mind artists like Van Morrison and Joni Mitchell. Taken as a whole, Before & After Life arrives as Hutchinson’s most introspective yet inspired work. The artist has shared the stage with Michael Franti, Amos Lee, Jason Mraz and more.
