Mountain Village Community Clean Up Day

The Town of Mountain Village hosts its annual Community Clean Up Day on Sunday, September 10, 2023. This year’s Clean Up Day will be based out of Heritage Plaza. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring your own gloves.

• Volunteer Registration: 9-10 a.m.
• Clean Up: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. - Groups will have separate bags for trash and recycling during the cleanup with group leaders guiding the way.
• After Party: 12 p.m. with live music, yard games and more.

This year, we’ve added exciting new activities and educational opportunities! Volunteer groups will play bingo during the cleanup, crossing off items different items in real-time.

Interested in climate change, recycling or energy efficiency and rebates? Learn about regional sustainability efforts and engagement opportunities from local nonprofits during the After Party. Local waste haulers will also be present to help answer your recycling and composting questions.
