Palm Classic Film Series Holiday Double Feature: A Christmas Carol / Wizard of Oz

The film series continues December 14th with the holiday double feature presentation of the classic Wizard of Oz (80th Anniversary) and the Dickens Classic A Christmas Carol (1938). The Wizard of Oz, regarded to be one of the greatest films in cinema history, celebrates fifty years of magic. Characterized by its legendary use of Technicolor, fantasy storytelling, musical score, and memorable characters, the film has become an American pop culture icon. A Christmas Carol (1938) is one of the earliest cinematic adaptations of Charles Dickens’ immortal classic has all the magic of the season. Reginald Owen is cast as Scrooge and does and extraordinary job, really conveying the change that the character goes through.
