Rundola, Telluride's Fourth of July Footrace

The Telluride Foundation is hosting the annual Fourth of July foot race, the Rundola. The Rundola is an open registration uphill foot race open from Telluride to the ridge that parallels the gondola. Telluride Foundation is the host and organizer.

Where: Runners start at the base of the gondola on the town of Telluride side and finish at the top of the ridge. Runners and hikers will climb up the Telluride Trail (4,600 feet long, 40 feet wide with a 13% grade) or just bushwhack to the top of the gondola. There is an elevation gain of 1,810 feet.

When: The run will start at 8 a.m. on July 4. Runners should walk back to Telluride or Mountain Village after the race. The finish line will close at 10 a.m.
