The following parking rates are effective April 8, 2024 through November 14, 2024.

Gondola Parking Garage

Located at 433 Mountain Village Blvd., behind Market Plaza and northwest of the gondola terminal station, there are a total of 460 spaces in this garage.

Seven days a week (daytime): free
Overnight parking (2 a.m.-6:30 a.m.):
- Passenger Vehicles (Zone 3911): $30
- RV/Truck-Trailer Combo over 24 feet in length (Zone 3912): $60

Oversize Vehicle Parking:

Parking an RV, truck and trailer combo, or vehicle longer than 24’ is very challenging any time of year in the Gondola Parking Garage, but especially during the winter season due to high demand. Parking in all Mountain Village public parking facilities is on a first-come, first-served basis – reservations not accepted - and the spaces that accommodate longer vehicles fill up quickly. Overnight parking, 2 a.m. – 6:30 a.m. on uncovered levels is not permitted in Gondola Parking Garage during the winter season due to plowing regulations. If you can find a suitable spot and need to drop your trailer for a few days, it is still subject to posted rates and plowing regulations. Vehicle camping is strictly prohibited in all Mountain Village public parking facilities regardless of what your Van Life Forum tells you. Mountain Village does offer an off-site option for the parking of RVs, truck and trailer combos, or vehicles longer than 24 feet at Lot R. Heritage Parking Garage

Located at 568 Mountain Village Blvd., off Mountain Village Boulevard, Heritage Parking Garage is located under the Madeline Hotel and Residences, however the entrance is located across from the front door to the hotel (turn west off Mountain Village Boulevard to enter the garage). There are a total of 116 spaces in this garage, most of which are located on the upper level. The hotel operator oversees the other 82 spaces with full valet services. 7’6″ maximum clearance.

$2 per hour (use zone 3920 in ParkMobile)
- Hourly parking rates apply overnight, $48 max per 24 hours. Max 14 days.
Pay upon entry: use credit or debit card only (no cash) through Parkmobile app (zone 3920).

North Village Center Parking

Located at 636 Mountain Village Boulevard, off Mountain Village Boulevard, between the Shirana and Westermere buildings, there are a total of 25 spaces in this lot.

$2 per hour 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Free public parking after 6 p.m.
Pay upon entry: use credit or debit card only (no cash) through Parkmobile app (zone 3930).
Resident permit holders are exempt from daily parking fees (no time limit) as space allows. See parking permit information below for permit details and to apply.
No overnight parking 2 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.

South Village Center Parking

Located at 113 Lost Creek Lane, off Mountain Village Boulevard and adjacent to the Blue Mesa condominium building, there are a total of 18 spaces in this lot.

$2 per hour 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Free public parking after 6 p.m.
Pay upon entry: use credit or debit card only (no cash) through Parkmobile app (zone 3940).
Resident permit holders are exempt from daily parking fees (no time limit) as space allows. See parking permit information below for permit details and to apply.
No overnight parking 2 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Market Plaza Parking

Located at 455 Mountain Village Boulevard., off Mountain Village Boulevard and adjacent to the grocery and liquor store, there are a total of 60 spaces in this lot, many of which are used for businesses located within Market Plaza.

Free one-hour parking.
No overnight parking, 2 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Resident permit holders may park along the rock wall for more than one hour after 3 p.m. only.

Meadows Parking

Located at the end of Adams Ranch Road in the Meadows neighborhood (308 Adams Ranch Road), there are a total of 110 spaces in this lot. In the summer, the Town operates a bus connecting Meadows Lot with Village Center. View bus schedule.

During the winter months, we conduct routine snow removal: every Monday, between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., the north side of the lot is closed; and every Thursday, between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., the south side of the lot is closed, unless signs denote the contrary. After April 1 of each year, this snow removal policy is no longer in effect.

April 15-November 15
- Free daytime parking, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
November 16-April 14
- Monday-Thursday, $10 (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
- Friday-Sunday, $15 (8 a.m.-8 p.m.)
- Pay upon entry: use credit or debit card only (no cash) through Parkmobile app (Zome 3950)
Overnight parking is permitted only through valid resident parking permit or Big Billie's Lot M permits.
- Big Billie’s residential Lot M permits are available through Big Billie's on a very limited basis.
No RVs, commercial vehicles and trailers.

Shirana Short-Term Parking

Located at 624 Mountain Village Boulevard., off Mountain Village Boulevard, across from The Peaks Resort & Spa, there are a total of 11 spaces in this lot.

Free 30-minute parking.
No overnight parking allowed, 2 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
No person shall park a vehicle in a town-regulated parking lot for a free period of time, exit the facility and reenter the facility, and park for a second free period of time within three hours of the first entry into the lot.

Overnight Parking (year-round)

Paid public overnight parking is allowed in two garages – Gondola Parking Garage ($30 per night for vehicles/$60 for oversized vehicles) and Heritage Parking Garage ($48 maximum in a 24-hour period ). Parking is not allowed along any street or right-of-way. If you are hosting a large event in Mountain Village and need to park cars along the roadway, contact us as we will be happy to work with you. We also offer our residents and employees permitted parking options. No matter where you park, please read applicable parking signage carefully so your stay in Mountain Village is safe and without penalty.

Parking Permit Options

The Town of Mountain Village offers a number of permits for residents, commuters and locals. The resident permit is valid through December 31, 2024. Commuter and local passes are not required after April 7, and new permits will be offered in the fall for winter 2024-2025.

Acceptable forms of proof of employment:
- Recent paystub (a copy of a check or paycheck is not acceptable)

- Deed of ownership
- 12-month lease
Current car registration (please double-check the expiration date before uploading to the system) is the only acceptable form of vehicle registration proof

Long-term parking is now available near the Telluride Regional Airport in Lot R for Mountain Village residents. Seasonal $50 permit registration fee (November 1 – April 30 and May 1 – October 31)

Proof of Town of Mountain Village residency is required (ownership or lease of any duration)
Not prorated, paid in advance, no refund for early termination
Oversized vehicles that take up two or more spaces will be charged $100 per season
Unpermitted vehicles are allowed 14 maximum days per season (zone 3960)

Delivery Permit (year-round)

To qualify for consideration of delivery permit, you must have a Mountain Village business license
Parking in designated zones only while actively loading/unloading
Permit is not intended for long-term parking anywhere
Permit does not allow free parking in any pay lot

Misuse of delivery permit will result in loss of permit
All delivery vehicles must carry liability insurance

ParkMobile

Use the ParkMobile app on your smartphone in the Gondola Parking Garage, Meadows Lot, Heritage Parking Garage, South Village Center and North Village Center to pay for or extend your parking session. This mobile system is available for iPhone, Android and Windows phones.

If you do not have a smartphone, you can set up an account and pay for parking by calling (877) 727-5951.

Once registered, you can also choose to receive custom alerts and reminders prior to your parking session expiring. This simple payment solution is an added payment option. You can certainly pay for parking using your credit card if you prefer.

How to Register

Once you have downloaded the app, you will be asked to fill out basic information. Or you may log in with Apple Touch ID.
You have the option to continue with registration or explore the app and complete registration at a later time.
If you decide to complete registration, you will be asked for your license plate number. You can add up to five numbers per account.
Last, you will be asked to choose a payment method.

How To Pay By App

Once you’ve registered, enter the appropriate four-digit zone number located on the bright green ParkMobile sign. Scroll until you find your location ‘Mountain Village’.

Choose the duration of time you wish to park.
Confirm your information, including location, license plate number, time and charge.
A ticker will begin counting down your time remaining. If time on your meter is running out, simply extend your parking session remotely.

Electric Vehicles

Electric vehicles (EV) are exempt from day/hourly parking fees only when actively charging. Once an EV is fully charged at one of our stations, there will be a one-hour grace period until the ChargePoint chargers begin assessing a $10/hr “Overtime Fee.” EV drivers will still need to pay posted day, hourly or overnight parking rates in regular stalls when not actively charging. Parking Violations

Below is a list of parking-related violations and the corresponding fine amount. If you do not pay the fined amount before the court date and you do not appear in court, the amount doubles. To ensure you are parked in an allowable space, please read all the erected signs in our surface lots and parking garages.
