Town Hall Center Subarea Planning Committee Duties
The main duty of the Town Hall Center Subarea Planning Committee is to carefully evaluate and propose revisions to the Town Hall Center Subarea Plan chapter of the Mountain Village Comprehensive Plan, with the proposed revisions presented to the Design Review Board and Town Council for their consideration.
Town Hall Center Subarea Plan
The Town of Mountain Village, Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association, Telluride Ski & Golf, and major land owners within the Town Hall Center Subarea, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in early 2016 in order to define and engage in a process to determine the most appropriate uses for the Town Hall Center Subarea. To learn more, please review the MOU. To stay up-to-date on the progress made, visit townhallplan.com.
In addition, the Committee advertised a Request for Qualifications to solicit consultants who were qualified to lead the study of the Town Hall Center Subarea. Six consultants responded, and in late June the Committee interviewed two consultant teams, choosing AECOM Technical Services, an international planning, engineering and urban design company. Joining AECOM are OZ Architecture and Urban Design, Pro Forma Advisors LLC and Logan Simpson. Please review the Scope of Work to learn.
