I have been a full time resident of Mountain Village since 2012 and was drawn to Mountain Village by its breathtaking scenery and outdoor lifestyle. After living here for the past five years, I have come to know and appreciate the citizens that make up our community and would like to be on Town Council and serve the residents of Mountain Village so that our unique gem of a town continues to flourish and prosper for many years to come.

I firmly believe that three of the most important obligations of elected officials are: transparency, rigorous cost-benefit analysis in the spending of public funds and the accessibility of elected officials to their constituents. If elected, I will strive to achieve these important obligations.

Housing is one of the most important issues in our community and yet Town Council is lacking an experienced real estate professional. I have over 20 years of experience working on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions in New York and Philadelphia. I would be excited to lend my expertise toward finding solutions that would benefit both part time and year round residents. The Town of Mountain Village has started entering into public/private real estate partnerships but has no experience in this area. As a real estate lawyer, I have worked on several large-scale public/private transactions worth in excess of $500 million. My experience in these types of transactions would assist Town Council in maximizing the negotiated benefits obtained for the community. I am mindful of the delicate balance between the need for development and the need to maintain the natural beauty and serenity of Mountain Village.

I am dedicated, hardworking and detail oriented. I graduated from Colgate University, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa and obtained my law degree from New York University School of Law. I am currently the Director of Academic Tutoring and on the Advisory Board of True North Youth Program. True North is an all volunteer organization that provides weekly tutoring at Telluride High School, assists students in obtaining college scholarships and provides career counseling and trades training.

Throughout my life I have leveraged my education and professional experience toward public benefit and I am now thrilled to be able to dedicate myself to finding solutions and opportunities for the residents of Mountain Village.
