ROAD ASPHALT PAVING |100% COMPLETE
The Town of Mountain Village will perform asphalt paving road work, Friday, July 26 beginning at 7 a.m. through Aug. 10. The project will improve and prolong the life of the road surface.
The Market Plaza parking lot will be closed for repaving of the asphalt surface on Monday, August 5. Market Plaza businesses will remain open, but please use the Gondola Parking Garage for parking during this time.
Motorists will experience delays in the affected areas during the construction period.
Traffic control will be provided for your safety. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while we improve your roadways. Travelers are also urged to watch for equipment, and maintenance crews working along the roadway.
ROAD CHIP SEAL MAINTENANCE | 100% COMPLETE
The Town of Mountain Village will perform chip seal operations in Mountain Village, Monday, July 30 through August 2 beginning at 8 a.m. The project will improve and prolong the life of the road surface.
United Companies has been contracted to chip seal the following roads:
- Aspen Ridge Drive
- Vischer Drive
- Victoria Drive
- Stevens Drive
- Hanglider Drive
- Gold Hill Court
- Benchmark Drive from Rocky Road to the Cul-de-sac
- San Sofia Drive
Motorists will experience intermittent delays. The operations may last for much of the day, but crews anticipate the closures to be of short time frames.
Travelers are also urged to watch for equipment, and maintenance crews working along the roadway.
TELLURIDE SKI & GOLF CELL TOWER PROJECT | 55% COMPLETE
The proposed new lattice communication tower would be located on Telluride Ski & Golf Company’s (TSG) open space on the Ridge near the top of Station St. Sophia, and next to the existing 90-foot KOTO tower. Construction of an access road to begin cell tower installation is pending until further notice to install the 100-foot tower on Coonskin Ridge.
