Farm to Community Incentive Program


The Town of Mountain Village continues the Farm to Community Incentive Program in 2019. The program includes a food share box of locally farmed produce and food items for 14 weeks, all for a $35 application fee.

Mountain Village residents who meet the following requirements can apply:

The applicant lives in deed-restricted housing in the Town of Mountain Village where the household is made up of one parent plus one or more dependents.


The applicant lives in deed-restricted housing in the Town of Mountain Village and meets the annual household income qualifications shown in the chart below.

Farm to Community Program Application

Qualified applicants, please fill out the following application to participate in the program. Eligibility will be on a first come first served basis for households that meet the requirements and have completed the form.

If you do not qualify for this Farm to Community Program consider joining one of our region’s many CSAs, including the F.R.E.S.H Food Hub’s summer CSA, delivering to the Market on the Plaza every Wednesday from June 19 through August 28.  APPLY HERE.

Mountain Roots Produce offers high quality and reasonably priced vegetables for local and regional communities while improving soil health and being water resilient in our high desert climate. Located in the beautiful Mancos Valley, just to the east of Mesa Verde National Park, in Southwest Colorado.

Fresh Food LogoF.R.E.S.H. Food Hub a community ran food co-op located in Norwood, Colorado. They are maintained solely through volunteer participation with over 15 volunteers, 30 paid members, support by the Telluride Foundation, and service approximately 80 households locally.

They purchase from local farms and producers such Indian Ridge Farm and Bakery, Buckhorn Gardens, Birdhouse Farm, Laid Back Ranch, South River Aquaponics, and many more small scale producers on the western slope offering the best possible prices on wholesome, healthy foods purchasing from over 30 producers in the region (200-mile driving radius).






Indian Ridge Farm provides regional residents with the highest quality, organically grown food available from a local source at affordable prices.  They raise livestock — mainly pastured poultry and turkeys, layer hens, pigs and goats in a humane manner. Indian Ridge is a firm believer that livestock have a very important role to play on small family farms. And because the chickens, turkeys and layer hens are constantly rotated to fresh pasture, you can be assured you’re enjoying the health benefits of consuming grass-fed meats and byproducts such as eggs.
