Farm to Community

The Town of Mountain Village Farm to Community Incentive Program includes a food share box of locally farmed produce and food items for 14 weeks to qualified residents, all for a $35 application fee.

This year's Farm to Community Program will open for applications in March 2024.

Option 1: Meet Dependent Qualifications

The applicant lives in deed-restricted housing (please review list of all deed-restricted units here) in the Town of Mountain Village where the household is made up of one parent plus one or more dependents.

Option 2: Meet Income Qualifications

The applicant lives in deed-restricted housing (please review list of all deed-restricted units here) in the Town of Mountain Village and meets the annual household income qualifications. see chart below.

F.R.E.S.H. Food Hub a community ran food co-op located in Norwood, Colorado. They are maintained solely through volunteer participation with over 15 volunteers, 30 paid members, support by the Telluride Foundation, and service approximately 80 households locally.

They purchase from local farms and producers such Indian Ridge Farm and Bakery, Buckhorn Gardens, Birdhouse Farm,Laid Back Ranch, South River Aquaponics, and many more small scale producers on the western slope offering the best possible prices on wholesome, healthy foods purchasing from over 30 producers in the region (within a 200-mile driving radius).
