Professional Background/Occupation:

Since 2023 I have been the Primary Care Practice Manager for the Telluride Medical Center. Previously I was General Manager for Exceptional Stays. I am certified in Lean Six Sigma, Fierce Leadership and Situational Leadership. I am a certified Health Coach and Yoga Instructor. I've worked for and learned from global companies such as Hilton, Fairmont/Swissotel, and Aveda. In the past 21 years I've worked in multiple local businesses serving the community and our visitors.

Previous Political Experience/Specific Qualifications:

1. I feel my most impactful qualification is that I am an effective representative of our community. Over the last 21 years I’ve worked directly in, with, or as a partner to nearly all elements of our community and resort economy. My professional life in Telluride and Mountain Village has spanned healthcare, hospitality, travel, wellness, hotel, retail and restaurants. In my experience I’ve engaged with the range of stakeholders from our local industries, governments, full time locals, second homeowners, visitors, business owners and local employees. I am or have been an employer, employee, a 1099 contractor; a deed restricted homeowner, renter, a roommate, an HOA officer; and a volunteer for local non-profits and festivals.

2. 15 years in leadership roles across industries has made me skilled in finding solutions, resolving conflicts and upholding shared mission and vision such as the Mountain Village Comprehensive Plan. I have expertise in managing operations, staff, budgets, and partnerships.

Reasons You Would Like to Serve:

Serving in government is an opportunity to reflect, protect, represent and support your community and its values. To Town Council I will bring thoughtful deliberation of impacts to our community members. When I first moved to the area in 2004, I lived in VCA and since then wanted to live in Mountain Village. I'm grateful that has become our reality and I’m motivated by the chance to positively serve the community where I love living.
