For hazardous snow and ice conditions on buildings contact the Planning and Development Services Department Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

For snow and ice build-up on roadways, contact the Public Works Department.

Some common examples of construction violations include:

  • After hours construction
  • Food waste in construction dumpster
  • Lack of erosion control or wetland protection (including silt fencing)
  • Development without a permit
  • Non-compliant exterior lighting

Contact the Mountain Village Police Department after 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or any time Saturday and Sunday.

When a trash or recycling container is not removed in a timely manner, contact the Mountain Village Police Department.

If you observe that a trash container is not wildlife-resistant or there is evidence that recycling does not occur at a residence,
contact the Public Works Department.

Some common examples of commercial trash and recycling violations include:

  • Receptacles not inside of enclosures
  • Enclosures not closed and/or locked
  • No evidence of recycling
  • Evidence of improper hazardous materials disposal

If you observe a commercial trash and/or recycling violation, contact the Public Works Department.

A good example of an environmental issue is the growth of noxious weeds on public or private property.
