Making Friends with Moguls Session 2 – February 28 – March 2, 2025

In the moguls, space and time between turns are abbreviated. Therefore, inefficiencies that can be disguised on groomed runs will be ineffective in the moguls. To ski moguls easily requires more precise movement patterns. In our camp, we spend time on groomed runs refining these precise movement patterns before entering mogul fields. We will start out slowly, with proven exercises and progressions, to help you achieve your goals. The amount of time spent on progressions will be determined by the skills you bring to the camp. Groups will be based on skier ability levels. Camp Leaders are mature skiers who have successfully taught these techniques for many years at Telluride Ski & Snowboard School.

• Discussion of Mogul Lines and Tactics
• Practical Application on Mogul Runs

Skier Qualifications:

• Comfortable skiing on groomed Black terrain
• Ages 15 and up
