
The 23rd annual Telluride Comedy Festival
The Sheridan Arts Foundation and Jeb Berrier present the 23nd annual Telluride Comedy Festival at the historic Sheridan Opera House over President’s Day weekend, Thursday, February 16 through, Sunday, February 19 at 8:00 p.m., doors at 7:00 p.m.

Thursday: Locals’ Night with all comedians
Friday: Stand-up with Beth Stelling & Aristotle Athari + improv with all comedians
Beth is a writer-performer known for her joke writing prowess whether it’s in her own stand-up specials (on Netflix, Comedy Central, Showtime and HBO Max) or for movies and television (Good Boys, I Love You America with Sarah Silverman, Crashing, Another Period, Rick and Morty). As an actress she’s guest starred on Red Oaks, Corporate, and most recently played Ms. Fish on Peacock’s Rutherford Falls.
After starting his career in stand-up comedy, Athari began collaborating with comedians Hasan Minhaj, Asif Ali, and Fahim Anwar on sketches under the group name Goatface. He had a recurring role on the final two seasons of HBO’s Silicon Valley as Gabe. Athari also cohosts the improvised podcast “This Is Americans Live,” a parody of the radio show This American Life. Athari was a featured player on Saturday Night Live for its forty-seventh season. He was the first Middle-Eastern male on the show and the second cast member of Iranian descent in the show’s history (following Nasim Pedrad).

Tickets are $40-$75 on Thursday, Local’s Night and $50-$145 each plus a $5 ticketing fee on Friday through Sunday. This show will be seated; Rows A-J are on the main floor, Rows K-Q are on the balcony. Limited leg room in Rows O & P. All ticket sales are final.
